On December 31, UP Express can get you to all your New Year’s Eve festivities safely and quickly – and for free! This year, UP Express offers free rides beginning at 7pm until the end of service on December 31, courtesy of Forty Creek Whisky. Don’t forget to tap on and off with your physical PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, debit/credit card or mobile wallet at the start and end of your trip. Don’t worry, no cost will be incurred, and you will see $0 on the display screen. UP Express service ends prior to midnight on December 31, so be sure to check GO Transit schedules to see how you can continue your journey for free after midnight until 8 a.m. GO Transit has also arranged special train service throughout the night to get you home safely.
