There’s a lot to discover in the Weston area! Take the UP Express to Weston Station and then enjoy exploring the neighbourhood on foot. The Weston train station is located in the main business area and just minutes from the nearby trails. After a walk in the plentiful green spaces, grab something to eat at one of the wonderful Weston area restaurants.

Humber River

Humber River

The Humber River weaves through Weston Village as it makes its way down to Lake Ontario. You’ll forget you’re even in the city as you explore the Humber River Recreational Trail. This is a great place for a bike ride, a run, or a leisurely stroll.

Raymore Park

If you’re visiting Toronto in the fall, be sure to head to Raymore Park near UP Weston Station for a chance to see the salmon run! A fish ladder was constructed in this part of the Humber River to help the salmon in their difficult journey upstream to the spawning grounds. Raymore Park connects to several other parks along the Humber River in Weston Village.

Carnegie Library

You can find historical landmarks in many Toronto neighbourhoods, and Weston Village is no exception. Less than a 10-minute walk from Weston train station is the historic Carnegie Library. The building boasts 24 stained-glass windows, each decorated with a crest and banner. Twenty-three of the banners also include the surname of a prominent author. You’ll find Chaucer, John Milton, Robert Louis Stevenson, William Shakespeare and others. Some banners are a bit of a mystery. For instance, it’s unclear if “Browning” refers to Robert Browning or Elizabeth Barrett Browning or both, and it’s unknown why the 24th crest was left blank. Whether you’re a history or architecture buff, or simply a literary enthusiast, a visit to Carnegie Library is well worth your time.

Weston Village is bursting with amazing street art. Spend an afternoon just strolling the neighbourhood, discovering works of art and deciding which one is your favourite. Maybe it will be the one right at UP Weston Station! These street murals make great backdrops for your sightseeing photos, too.

Parking Near Weston Station

Free parking is available at Weston Station. UP Weston Station is a shared train station with GO Transit, and it’s important to know that the parking lot is often full during the week due to high demand from Weston GO Station commuters. It may be easier to find a spot on the weekends.
