Free rides on UP Express kicks off at 7 p.m. on December 31^st, 2024, but make sure to get back before the last train departing Union Station at 1 a.m. and Pearson at 12:57 a.m. If you are heading home after 1 a.m., no worries! You can still rely on free rides across the GO Transit network until 8 a.m. on January 1^st, 2025, to ensure a safe journey home after the celebrations.

How to travel for free this NYE on UP Express:

1. Arrive at Bloor, Weston or Pearson stations before your train. Running late? UP Express trains run every 15 minutes.
2. If using PRESTO, please tap on and off as you normally would on the blue machines.
3. No cost will be incurred, and you will see $0 on the display screen.
4. Sit back, relax, and let UP Express take you into 2025 and beyond.

Alternate Routes to Pearson Airport

If you’re travelling to Pearson Airport after UP Express service service hours, please see below for your local transit options.

From Weston: 
Connect to a route 52 or 352 TTC bus at Weston Rd and Lawrence Ave. West to Pearson Airport. This trip takes approximately 40 minutes. 

From Bloor: 
Connect to a westbound TTC subway at Dundas West station to Kipling station, where you can board a route 900 or 300 TTC bus to Pearson Airport. This trip takes approximately 53 minutes.

From Union: 
Connect to a northbound TTC subway on line 1 at Union Station to St. George station, transfer to a westbound subway on line 2 to Kipling station, where you can board a route 900 or 300 TTC bus to Pearson Airport. This trip takes approximately 60 minutes.

Connect to a northbound TTC subway on line 1 at Union Station to Yorkdale station. Head over to Yorkdale Bus Terminal where you can board a route 94 GO bus to Pearson Airport.
